Don’t forget the classics – item two
December 7, 2015Let’s get Shirty
December 15, 2015The all in one trend is now fully mainstream, and if you’ve decided to decline this fashion (because its tricky to go to the loo!) then maybe its time you tried one on. Jumpsuits are super flattering if you choose the right style for your shape. I wear my favourite tailored one from Phase Eight, that I fell for a year or so ago, I’ve worn it loads, to work, out in the evening and more recently over a chiffon shirt, belted with narrow black patent for waist definition. I love it’s versatility.
Topshop have this great style, wrap over front, easy pleated trouser, shorter ankle length, and even a little sleeve, £60. It’s a poly/elastane blend, a cottony feel, with side pockets and belt which you can alternate with a tan leather belt, layered over stripes and worn with ankle boots for day or perfect for evening with a simple dark or metallic heel and long statements earrings.
To wear as a day layer with this slim fit stripe top by Marks, reduced to £13.65, a viscose/elastane blend.
For a jumpuit in a relaxed mode, try Phase Eight’s casual jersey version in charcoal and layer over stripes like this Mint Velvet pure cotton number, worn with white trainers or just cozy socks around the house, (then throw your leather jacket over top for popping out, of course!)
Yes, it can be a bit tricky with the loo stop but take a friend and you’ll be fine.
